2013 Cup of Montreal

Last Sunday (March 17) our team came back from the Cup of Montreal tournament trip.
This is one of the 3 biggest and the most popular tournaments in Quebec that attracts many clubs all over Canada. Many Ontario, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick and of course Quebec clubs participated in this competition.

Our team brought 4 gold, 4 silver, 3 bronze medals and one Best Spirit award trophy:

2013 Pedro’s Challenge


Congratulations to the 2013 Pedro’s Challenge medalists (Boston, MA, USA):

Last Sunday (Feb 24) our team has returned from a 3 days trip to Boston where we have participated in Annual Pedro’s Challenge tournament (one of 3 Zebra tour pointable US tournaments).

Also our kids had an opportunity to meet and train together with Russian Judo Olympic champions and medalists: Arsen Galstyan, (2012 1st place -60), Mansur Isaev (2012 1st place -73), Tagir Khaibulaev (2012 1st place -100), Khasanbi Taov (2004 3rd place -90), Kamil Magomedov (European bronze medalist) as well as with the US Olympics Gold medalist – Kayla Harrison.

The tournament was tough but our team brought 8 medals. We congratulate Pedro’s Challenge 2013 medalists:
– Nikita – 1 silver medal
– Luka – 1 bronze medal
– Stephania – 1 silver and 1 bronze medals
– Lasha – 2 silvers medals

2012 Canadian National Judo Championship


We are glad to share with you the excellent results our team has achieved on the 2012 Canadian National Judo Championship.
